What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
My first official experience as a tutor came in the form of teaching general physics to university students. Starting out, I had been nervous to step into this role, as having so many students depend on you to help them understand the very concepts that they were to be graded on was a rather large responsibility. However, it did not take long for me to begin enjoying my position. As I got to understand each student and adapt my teaching methods to their learning style, the moment in which they were able to finally grasp the concept was extremely rewarding and what I enjoy most about tutoring.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor lie in the passion I have for the material. As a STEM student myself, while I may prefer a certain subject over another, each subject has its own advantages and the opportunity to not only teach but share that passion with other students and to see them recognize the importance of what they are learning is truly a feeling to be chased after.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a requirement to be able to teach college physics, I had to take a course in teaching etiquette where we were required to submit a teaching statement for our final grade.
