What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students gain confidence as they grasp concepts they once found difficult. Over the past 8 months, I’ve informally taught students from Class 2 to 10 and also volunteered with an NGO to teach underprivileged children. These experiences have deepened my belief in the power of education and the importance of making learning accessible and engaging. I genuinely enjoy both learning and teaching, and I find tutoring rewarding because it allows me to support others while continuing to grow myself.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths lie in being patient, adaptable, and able to connect with students across different age groups. With 8 months of informal tutoring experience and time spent volunteering with an NGO, I’ve learned how to explain concepts clearly, tailor my approach to individual needs, and create a supportive learning environment. I’m also passionate about both learning and teaching, which keeps my sessions engaging and effective.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do are to build the student’s confidence, make learning feel approachable, and create a safe space where questions are welcomed. Beyond academic support, a tutor should inspire curiosity, encourage persistence, and help students believe in their own potential. It’s not just about teaching concepts — it’s about nurturing a mindset that empowers lifelong learning.
