What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy breaking down hard theories into small, manageable chunks and walking through them step by step with my students, using visualisations and real-world examples. All the abstract and confusing ideas I struggled with as a child now I get to help my students through them. I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from ANU and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Melbourne. I graduated from Haileybury College with a Year 12 High Distinction. Since January 2024, I've been working as a casual academic at ANU, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students mathematical logic and Python programming. I also have industry and research experience as an AI engineer, and I've taught robotics to Year 3 to Year 6 students.
