So what do we do exactly?
We'll organise an in-home maths tutor in Finnie. They'll come over as often as you need and when you need. They will teach your child content while helping them absorb the learning skills required to succeed on their own. It's super important that your child feels the tutor is a good match for them. This is why we offer a "Good Fit Guarantee" - the first lesson is a trial. There are no cancellation costs or booking fees or any other "hidden costs". We keep it simple!
Talk to one of our consultants, help us understand what you need, when you need it, and we'll do the rest!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jack has been developing well in terms with his learning strategies but there a few that he needs to develop. Jack needs to learn to put pen to paper, even though he is only in year 3 right now, it would be beneficial for him to learn how to use working out on paper to clear his thoughts. Jack also needs to seek the understanding of what he learns and sometimes he guesses answers and continues to until he gets it correct. Now, this is a habit that Jack needs to avoid in the future.
I think the use of the book has been really helpful for her because that way all the information is in one place and is neatly organised. She definitely has a good attitude towards maths and is helping her succeed.
I think the places where Jonathan needs the most work is repetition and practice. I will be doing quite a lot of algebra with him over the next few sessions, when we aren't doing his current work, because I want him to get really good at the basics as algebra is such a vital part of maths and comes into many different topics.

Eddy is really happy with Amy! I am so pleased to advise he has quickly built a rapport with her and has been really positive following their tutoring sessions.
My son and myself are greatly satisfied with the work that Jacqualine is putting forth to my son Tyler, he looks forward to every session. Jacqueline is professional, explains the following subjects until my son grasps on but also makes learning enjoyable. Not only myself by Tyler's teacher has seen an improvement with his confidence when completing a math's task at school. I believe we are in the process of having Tyler's teacher also liaise with Jacqueline to make this process a easier transition.
Yes tutoring is going really well. I'm practicing and doing my best. I haven't done this in years but I feel as though I am picking it up quite well. Many thanks.
