"Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime". This pretty much sums up our maths tutoring philosophy. Year after year students are bombarded with an increasing amount of content. Most students are always in catch up mode, trying to keep up with the class, cramming in some revision time right before exams, feeling anxious and unconfident. Of course it is possible to do well this way, but it is like using a hammer to cut down a tree instead of an axe. There's a...
There's a better way to succeed academically. This is where we come in. Ezy Math tutors break the cycle of inefficient learning by showing students not just WHAT to study but also HOW to study.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
In terms of algebra and measurement, her formatting and pen-to-paper has been going well, however, back checking still needs to be more thorough and properly done, where she doesn't just skim through her working out but re-do her working out in her head or on paper to check that it is correct. She has been making good corrections, but she needs to be more confident with her answers as most of the time, she knows how to work it out, but does not finish the question as she was unsure.
Griffin's attitude is always good from the beginning to now. Recently Griffin can finish the homework i gave and ask questions where he cannot understand, which means he really puts efforts to try to solve all homework questions. Before this semester starts, Griffin and i decided to give him extra exercises during the sessions. But later i found Griffin sometimes cannot finish the questions on his math textbook. So recently i stopped preparing extra questions for him. We focus on his textbook now.
Tara needs to work on her speed when it comes to maths, as she does more problems, she should be able to cut down on some steps in her working out. Her maths tests are very time restricted, hence i recommend not to dwell to much on showing every step of the working out. she knows her stuff well, but she also needs to have confidence.
I'm really happy with my tutor Karen which has helped me a lot with my work so far, she really does help me with my errors and to understand my topic and it has made a difference to my learning and I'm more ahead of the class now. I would really like to thank this company for letting me try and push my ability to my greatest. I hope the rest of year stays the same and once again thank it had made a big difference.
Jade has settled in really well with Sangdi, and has told me that she feels she is learning and understanding new things each time they have a meeting. I am also happy with Sangdi as I can see that he has already made progress with Jade.
Holly has stated that Jennifer her tutor is helping her with her Maths. She is certainly in a better frame of mind with Jennifer than when either myself or my husband had tried to help in the past. Early days yet but looking positive.
