So what do we do exactly?
We'll organise an in-home maths tutor Parkville. They'll come over as often as you need and when you need. They will teach your child content while helping them absorb the learning skills required to succeed on their own. It's super important that your child feels the tutor is a good match for them. This is why we offer a "Good Fit Guarantee" - the first lesson is a trial. There are no cancellation costs or booking fees or any other "hidden costs". We keep it simple!
Talk to one of our consultants, help us understand what you need, when you need it, and we'll do the rest!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Belle has really improved over the past few weeks. Her main problems are that she doesn't back check (resulting in lots of careless errors) and she relies on rules too much, but she also does speak up and ask questions if she doesn't understand something, which is good. She refers to her notes and has really improved in her transfer skills.
Eugene's attitude in class has been exemplary. This is shown in his willingness to undertake any task asked of him. Eugene's effort has been fantastic as shown in his endeavour to complete the homework tasks and in-class quizzes in a timely manner. Eugene is encouraged to keep checking through his work to avoid any potential errors in his solution. He has been taught to write his steps in a sequential manner and to keep practicing this.
Hayley has great knowledge of times tables and addition. She does struggle a little more with division and (to some extent) subtraction. These are areas that we will continue to work on. Division, place values and money are the main problem ares I have identified so far. I will continue to cover those areas in future sessions.

Nohemi is great. A very professional tutor with an easy going personality. Brayden has found her lessons quite helpful and has no issues with her teaching methods. As school returns from holidays this week we will see how successful tutoring has been (to-date). If nothing else, I do believe Nohemi has increased his confidence in Algebra.
Both yannick and lanah had their second lesson with Rachel on Monday and I am very happy with the way it is going. They are comfortable with her and feel they can communicate well with her.
