As our company name suggests, we want to make tutoring "Ezy" for parents, students and tutors! We're super passionate about education and especially about maths. Helping a student reach levels of accomplishment that were previously unknown changes their life and sets them up for long term success. It's a "feel good" experience for the student, for parents...and of course for us! Our testimonials are the inspiration that keep us going through hard times. Tutoring works well when it is consistent, reliable, flexible and easy to manage ... otherwise, for a combination of reasons, we don't get the impact we want.
So here's how the service works: We will organise for a local Rosewater maths tutor to reach out to you and organise the time and day for the lesson. The tutor comes to you. You can have the tutoring as often or as little as you like. There are no booking fees or "extras" of any sort. You simply get an invoice at the end of each month for the tuition time used. Best of all, your first lesson works as a trial, so if for some reason the tutor isn't a good fit for your family, you won't be charged for that lesson!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
With Bryce I am using the pen to paper strategy and making him solve the qums to get proper understanding and confidence. I first solve a few sums and make him understand how the problem works and the concept and then ask him to solve a few on his own and once he has done them, I would ask him to explain the same thing to me to build up his confidence and assure him that he knows what he has done.
Harry is mostly attentive during class, though occasionally he gets distracted by his surroundings. Harry is willing to learn during the lesson, and ask questions to clarify things he does not understand. Harry tends to not revisit his tests once he gets the mark back and knows where and how he got wrong. The problem is without further practicing, he forgets how to do those questions that he got wrong in the test.
The topics covered in last month were logarithm laws, evaluating logarithm, logarithm equations. In the last two sessions, we started revision for the exam, starting with trigonometric. Kate has difficulty to make connections between the knowledge. She is good at skill transfer, but if she sees some new type of questions, she cannot think logically.

Lille has taken well to tutoring so far and Jackie is a great match for Lille so we are happy.
So far all is good. Lili and Jasmine get along lovely and she is teaching Jasmine some math tricks which is great. Jasmine is more keen to practice her maths also.
Aliesha and Winnie are working very well together. I have already seen the results. Aliesha's first assessment task in Year 10 general maths, she scored 37% but in her latest assessment task she achieved 92%, which is an amazing result. Aliesha has regained her confidence which is reflected in her school, work and at home. She is so much happier. Thank you for all your helpful advice during my initial enquiries and a big thank you to Winnie.
