So what do we do exactly?
We'll organise an in-home maths tutor in South Wentworthville. They'll come over as often as you need and when you need. They will teach your child content while helping them absorb the learning skills required to succeed on their own. It's super important that your child feels the tutor is a good match for them. This is why we offer a "Good Fit Guarantee" - the first lesson is a trial. There are no cancellation costs or booking fees or any other "hidden costs". We keep it simple!
Talk to one of our consultants, help us understand what you need, when you need it, and we'll do the rest!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Peter has shown good improvement in using pen to paper, note taking, and his desire for understanding. He needs some work on talking aloud, back checking, correcting his own work, avoiding lazy thinking, positive self talk, and his problem-solving skills. We will keep working together to try and improve his weaker areas, while introducing some new strategies as necessary and appropriate.
I would really like Yasmin to revise her notes before next session every week. As recommended, she should put all her effort in the assigned homework, which means she has to revise the notes, solve problems, check answers from her textbook and go back and correct the mistakes. If she cannot correct her mistakes after several attempts, this is when she has to initiate the discussion in the next tutoring. This is an effective way of learning as well.
Overly confident and needs to build a habit of back checking. Needs more practise in double digit mathematical operations. Once the concepts are explained, she is able to carry out the operations with relative ease.

I am happy with the way things have started up. Peter has already had an improvement in his Maths test result and I am hoping that this will also be the case with his recent SAC.
Thank you for your follow up email. Yes it all seems to be going along fine with Ben. I think Cassie is finding helpful and slowly building her confidence again. She was quite a bit behind and struggling so I understand it will probably take a little while. She had a maths test last week which Ben appeared to provide a thorough preparation for her.
We have been very happy with Kancelot, Nathan seems to be taking to him very well and his influence has already shown improvement. Nath's confidence has already lifted somewhat, even though the results have not yet improved. It will take some time, we understand that and I think Nathan is on board with that as well.
