So what do we do exactly?
We'll organise an in-home maths tutor Swansea Heads. They'll come over as often as you need and when you need. They will teach your child content while helping them absorb the learning skills required to succeed on their own. It's super important that your child feels the tutor is a good match for them. This is why we offer a "Good Fit Guarantee" - the first lesson is a trial. There are no cancellation costs or booking fees or any other "hidden costs". We keep it simple!
Talk to one of our consultants, help us understand what you need, when you need it, and we'll do the rest!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
As of the first lesson, I can tell that Jay has quite a good foundation of mathematics. Areas he needs improvement on include percentages, fractions and decimals and also area and perimeter of shapes. Jay needs to recognise that some mental operations are too hard to calculate in his head and thus, needs to put pen to paper for harder calculations.
As we have discussed, I believe Jordan had become slightly complacent last term, and this seems to have pushed him to work harder this term. Jordan needs to put in more effort in the lead up to the end of the year. He is already working hard but needs to do more to achieve his best. Jordan's note taking is potentially going to make his exam preparation harder, but we will work together to develop a structured plan for this.
The school holiday period has given Jordan a chance to go over areas that were not as strong as they needed to be. We are working through the text book to find these areas. Jordan's biggest problem area is organisation. He seems to be given a lot of material and needs to work harder to keep these organsied.

I am happy with the way things have started up. Peter has already had an improvement in his Maths test result and I am hoping that this will also be the case with his recent SAC.
Thank you for your follow up email. Yes it all seems to be going along fine with Ben. I think Cassie is finding helpful and slowly building her confidence again. She was quite a bit behind and struggling so I understand it will probably take a little while. She had a maths test last week which Ben appeared to provide a thorough preparation for her.
We have been very happy with Kancelot, Nathan seems to be taking to him very well and his influence has already shown improvement. Nath's confidence has already lifted somewhat, even though the results have not yet improved. It will take some time, we understand that and I think Nathan is on board with that as well.
