What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
In my own academic studies, I am passionate about helping my peers/other students improve their learning and understanding. My favourite moment about helping others academically is seeing results and all their hard work paying off!
My Strengths as Tutor
As a tutor, I endeavour to ensure each tutoring experience is well-tailored to the student and aim to empower the student, rather than using condescending tones and harsh expectations (as I have experienced with some teachers during my academic journey).
Most important things I can do for a student
I believe the most important thing is to foster a love for learning and to empower the student to reach their own potential. Once one realises that achieving great scores is possible, then they themselves can render improving their grades easy and enjoyable.
I prepare custom worksheets for every student that I tutor, which focus on solidifying their strengths and improving on their weaknesses.
Most importantly, I understand the struggles and experience of being a student. I am able to empathise with all of my students and offer them great study advice.
