What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love seeing change and progress in my students, and seeing their confidence in themselves grow. I feel most satisfied and rewarded when my students proudly tell me about their latest results, and update me on how they are doing at school. My favourite aspect of tutoring is forming a connection with my students, becoming invested in their progress, and knowing that I have had a positive influence on my student and their academic aims.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am good at personalising my teaching and tutoring style to fit my student and their needs. This includes observing whether my student is more of a visual, auditory or kinesthetic learner, and modifying my own style to optimise their progress and understanding. I also regularly ask my students for feedback on my tutoring and I am open to constructive criticism, so that I can really do what is best for my student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
From my experience I have found that students do best when they are self-confident and hopeful in their own ability, so I believe that as a tutor my most important role is showing them that there is nothing stopping them from aiming high. This means I support them whatever their goal, and ensure that they know that I will be there for them at any time they need extra help.
