What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
My mom always tells me - 'Teaching is a profession that keeps you young'. Interacting with young budding minds is always a rejuvenating experience. Nothing helps a tutor enhance his/her knowledge about a subject as much as explaining it to an inquisitive child does. Answering the pupil's questions, explaining them complex concepts in a simplified way to ensure maximum retention and helping them develop critical problem solving skills is what I enjoy the most about tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor
1) My intensified understanding of the subject.
2) My skills in presenting the subject matter in a systematically arranged and simplified manner.
3) An ability to respond the personal mental needs of the pupil according to his/her academic ability.
4) My practice of completing a required course in the allocated time period.
Most important things I can do for a student
As is rightly said - 'Teaching is not a past-time but a priesthood'. I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for his/her students is to create a life long interest and a never ending passion for learning a subject while providing them an overall mental growth, personality development and an ability to think creatively and independently.
