What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the opportunity to pass my knowledge on to others so that they can succeed in their courses. I enjoy being able to work with others and make a difference in their lives. I like connecting with my students and providing assistance to them so that they are able to be the best that they can be. I enjoy watching my students learn, grow and excel in their subjects and it brings me great joy seeing the improvement in my students through my tutoring and mentoring. I also enjoy helping my students prepare for exams and giving them the confidence they need so that they are relaxed and ready for their exams.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are that I am very patient and I give the student the opportunity to have a go at various questions first. I am friendly and explain concepts clearly and thoroughly, but in a way that is easy to comprehend. I provide plenty of time for the student to ask questions whilst in a tutoring session, as well as teaching them concepts which they may be struggling to understand. I am calm and I always listen to what the student has to say. I will also go ahead with the student and begin new topics if the student is up to date with the current topics they are studying in class.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is provide support for the student when they are struggling. It is very important for a tutor to remain calm and explain difficult concepts in a simple way for the student to easily understand. A tutor must provide positive reinforcement when a student is doing well in a particular area. A tutor must listen to the questions which students ask and always be prepared with material for tutoring sessions. A tutor must guide their students to do the best they can in their subject area. As a tutor, I possess these skills which enable me to effectively mentor my students.
