What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing the progression of my students over time and knowing that I have genuinely made an important contribution to both their academic success and their own intellectual development.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am extremely adaptable to the student's needs - I am happy to go patiently and slowly through challenging content or move quickly for students who are progressing faster. I also have excellent communication skills and have been commended often in my job and at uni for making difficult concepts easier to understand. Students also seem to like me as I treat them with respect and empathy for the challenges of studying and we often develop a good rapport which fosters better learning outcomes.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to impart a genuine enjoyment for both the subject being tutored and of learning itself, so that students can both be naturally motivated to achieve highly, and go on to become successful learners throughout their lives long after finishing tutoring.
