What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I genuinely enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help students gain confidence in their content / subjects and thus in their own academic potential. It was very rewarding to see students who once struggled in concepts go to feeling very strong in particular areas and seeing them thus excel.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor I work on individual strengths and weaknesses which I think is rare. I look at what each student feel so capable with and work around this to ensure that their experience of receiving help is as effective and successful as possible. On top of this I am easy to talk to and patient as well as encouraging and supportive. Such skills I have largely developed and strengthened through other experiences in jobs with children including babysitting, after school care and coaching various sports for example.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As mentioned previously, I think that at the core of tutoring, a tutor should be able to help their students gain confidence in their content / subjects and thus in their own academic potential. Tutoring to me is about improving academic performance through assisting with understanding and confidence!
