What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping students see tasks from a more easier perspective so that they understand the content or task, and actually enjoy doing the subject. Seeing their faces light up with joy when they finally understand what is given to them. I also enjoy revising the content myself, it allows me to improve on my skill and knowledge continuously.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm a very easy-going person, with a lot of patients, which not only allows me to connect with the student in a friendlier manner but also give them the time and space required to understand something. I'm also quite friendly and positive all the time, so I have no difficulties adjusting to new environments. In relation to my strengths with my skill, then I am able to portray the information step by step so that it is easily absorbed by the student. I'm here to guide them as a mentor, rather than just do what is required of me.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Finding the right flow. Every student is different and works or understands content at a different pace. I'd want to know what works or doesn't for the student or what methods they've tried previously. I want to help them by teaching them how to simplify the content or given task so that they better understand it. I want them to communicate with me, and tell me they're strengths and weakness so we both can work together to improve them. I cannot help them unless they allow me too, and for that, I need their trust and willingness to cooperate with me.
