### What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find it rewarding watching my students improve. One of my previous students had a visual disability and found it difficult to determine the depth of 3D shapes - helping him through this was incredibly rewarding. His self confidence grew, as did his fondness for maths. He constantly told me that I was much better than his teacher at school, which was very rewarding for me!

### My Strengths as Tutor 💪

If someone is struggling with a concept I do not simply repeat what I have already told them, I will find a new way to explain it to them. Some students respond very well to visual diagrams, while with others it simply takes a bit more time explaining the concept from new angles. I think ultimately my strength as a tutor is my ability to find my students strengths and tailor my explanations towards them.

### Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think a good tutor can turn a students life around. They can foster self-confidence, give them a passion for a subject that they previously disliked, and make learning fun and interesting instead of scary and intimidating. This can change their entire future - it improves their marks, as well as their attitude which can give them opportunities in university which they otherwise may not have had. The role of being a tutor is an incredibly important one as it potentially change a students future opportunities, and how they approach all facets of academic life and learning.

Needs ImprovementHad abit of trouble with some of the terminology, like stamp duty, excess, and the specifics of insurance. This would be a good area to focus on tonight while revising, but its also important not to neglect topics she's also really good at, as they're all going to be weighted equally. Great job overall, I'm sure she'll do really well.

Went WellUnderstood both taxable income and variable equations really well. Really strong work, and good focus.

Needs ImprovementTimezones definitely need abit more work, but its most important to go over the practice paper by herself before our next lesson so we can focus on any areas Alice feels she needs to work on.

Went WellMost topics were good - shown big improvement with almost all topics. Algebra was really good, as was distance and applying equations to practical situations.
