What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I think knowledge is the most unique attribute that can be shared amongst people. Therefore through tutoring , the ability to use learnt information and share it amongst students is something that I enjoy. Most of the time students struggle to understand concepts learnt in class and either are too embarrassed or scared to ask questions. Therefore tutoring is place that allows them to fully express themselves and clarify their doubts.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Currently a 2nd year tertiary student, majoring in English, Bilingual. Have 2 years of experience in tutoring English and Maths for Year 7- 12 students. Adept at creating a classroom atmosphere that is encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of students. Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated to helping students with their specific learning needs. Experienced to work in a diverse environment with students of all ages. I always create a friendly environment in which students feel encouraged to discuss and ask as many questions as they desire.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The key aspect to tutoring requires communication between a tutor and student. This eventually allows all the important elements like goal setting, creating guidelines and benchmarks to occur. The tutor should be able to create learning timetable with students on their ongoing learning progress and if possible, communicate with the parents to find a ultimate strategy to boost the academic progress of the student. The goals should be realistic and made on basis of a students capability, this is to ensure that the student meets the targets and feels motivated to move on to next one.
