What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I most enjoy imparting the knowledge that I have garnered about various subjects, university, intelligence, onto younger students. I love helping students when they are stuck and also helping them to find their voice. I find that it is a two-way road wherein the efforts you put in as a tutor are rewarded by watching the student develop academically and as an individual.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think that my two biggest strengths as a tutor are 1) compassion and 2) preparation. I myself went to tutoring in year 12 for Economics so I understand the stress and pressure that students face but I have the added experience of a 4 year degree on Commerce and Arts, achieving academic awards, and working for a year in EY. Most importantly, I am very personable, supportive and caring for students as I genuinely love teaching.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important things that a tutor can do for a student include: 1) Encouraging a growth mindset in the student that makes them inspired to try. 2) Preparation of material prior to classes. 3) Clarity of information and support for any questions, whilst ensuring that the student makes an effort.
