What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to help and assist those who are struggling in school to further understand certain concepts. As a Software Engineering student who has a fair bit of experience in coding, I began to realise that there is always more than one approach to the solution and likewise there is always more than one way of communicating/ explaining a certain concept. Our past experiences have, in a sense, shaped the way we perceive things which means everyone has a different/ unique mind, meaning that one explanation doesn't necessarily work for everyone and as a tutor, we have to engineer a solution.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Critical thinking skills developed through Engineering projects. Recent high school graduate (2020). Studying Software Engineering -> strength physic and mathematic skills. Multilingual -> can speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Understanding and easy to approach.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be active, know their materials, understanding, patient, have good communication/ verbal skills, not just handing out answers but always checking on students to ensure that they understand the concept/ theory behind it, thorough preparation before every class, someone who is available even after class (allows students to email question when necessary).
