What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I truly enjoy working with young people, and enjoy engaging my own problem solving abilities to determine the best way to demonstrate new concepts to guide individuals to a point where they are able to grasp processes they can apply to their work and recall them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I work with students individually and become familiar with their best methods of learning to be able to go through topics so that the student is able to understand processes and how they are applied. I continue to try different methods of teaching and demonstrating, and put a focus on applied processes and working-out to reach a solution, rather than just the end result.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Many students who have difficulty with specific topics can acquire a negative view of learning through pressure and frustration from teachers, so students benefit from a teacher or tutor who is patient and encouraging. A tutor should guide students to learn at their own pace and encourage them at every opportunity. Students also benefit from a tutor who tailor teaching methods to individuals so that students are able to grasp mathematical concepts in a way that they can relate to and apply, as well as retain.
