Often the student's confidence increases and their grades increase across all subjects. They learn that directed effort results in improvement and that is a form of empowerment! This is what we're all about, our mission is to facilitate life-changing student-tutor matches. There is just nothing better than having a sense of self confidence and faith in your own competence.
We'll organise a maths tutor in Warrawong or any other location that works. You chose the time. You chose what you want the tutor to work on (or if you don't know, they can figure it out). You chose how often to have the tutoring. It's all up to you!
Give us a call on 1300 312 354 or enquire below. We'll have a chat to understand your needs and organise for one of our local Warrawong maths tutors to reach out. If you don't like the first lesson you won't be charged!
The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
This month we worked on Trigonometry, which David found interesting and picked it up really quickly. He consistently sought understanding, which showed me his superior mathematical thinking and questioning skills.
Luiz has an excellent attitude to his studies and genuinely appears to want to do the best he can at school. He is always happy to take any advice I give though I trust him to alter such advice to benefit the specific way that he works. Luiz puts in high amounts of efforts to his studies and this will serve him well in the coming years. From what I can tell, Luiz has excellent work habits. He always completes any work I set him and seems well prepared in regards to both school set homework and assessments.
We are currently working on Mia improving her understanding of measurements, particularly her understanding of converting between metric units. We are also working to improve Mia's understanding of Statistics and Probability. Whilst Mia is strengthening her understanding of many concepts, particularly in Maths, she will need to practice her mental maths and also work to pick up speed with working out mathematical problems. Mia is still not confident with telling Time on an analogue clock.
Compliments on the nice touch with the follow up. It comes across as very professional. In fact the whole process from my initial inquiry about getting some help for Jake, through to now has been very professional, informative and direct. Yes, things have been progressing well between Jake and his tutor. They formed a good rapport straight off the bat. Jake has made comment of his own free will how he is enjoying the support. That in itself is something - getting more than a grunt from a 16 yr old!
Tilly has been doing very well at school with her maths - she received an A on her report. She says she is far more confident. Thank you so much for providing us with an excellent tutor in Christy - it would be my pleasure to provide a reference any time. It has made a significant difference to our daughter's confidence.
We are very pleased with the progress of the tutorials with Aprinder. Dean is engaging really well with him and already seems more confident. We hope his apparent progress will be reflected in both a more positive attitude toward maths that is enduring and also in his maths results at school.
