"Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime". This pretty much sums up our maths tutoring philosophy. Year after year students are bombarded with an increasing amount of content. Most students are always in catch up mode, trying to keep up with the class, cramming in some revision time right before exams, feeling anxious and unconfident. Of course it is possible to do well this way, but it is like using a hammer to cut down a tree instead of an axe. There's a...
There's a better way to succeed academically. This is where we come in. Ezy Math tutors break the cycle of inefficient learning by showing students not just WHAT to study but also HOW to study.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Patrica has a great recall when it comes to remembering steps required to solve a question. This has enabled us to progress quickly and thoroughly into topics. I notice that Patrica makes small silly mistakes whilst doing problems. Annoyingly enough, it is these small mistakes that can cost the most marks in the end. Hence I suggest that Patrica double check all her lines of working as she progressed throughout the questions.
Joseph is improving his ability to avoid careless errors, which is shown by him getting the first page of his Trig test all correct. However, we now need to work on refining his ability to solve more difficult questions and improve his ability to analyse questions more accurately.
Aali's main difficulties appear to centre around retaining information in a way that works for her. So far, concepts such as select times tables, chemical bonding and electron shells have become more familiar to Aali, allowing her to recall information about these topics more easily. This appears to be as a result of the routine of lessons. One comment Aali did make was that at her school there were occasions where Aali said that the teacher would not assist her despite asking.
Very happy with tutoring, Charles has been very helpful. Gilda and Charles are working well together.
We came to Ezymaths because our son has problems understanding some of the year 8 topics. When I contacted the company, the customer service staff was very understanding and spent time listening to my problems with my son's attitude towards Maths subject. He answered all my questions and removed any doubt I had about the success of a tutoring service to my son in our own home. My son was very happy with the first meeting with Amy and the second meeting he started to warm up. The 3rd meeting, he was already asking questions and was able to do his homework independently because he understood the concept. He said that the tutor's explanation about the topic was very clear and he now have better understanding of the concepts. Since he is in the top class, he found that they move very fast to the next topic in class and appreciated the one on one lesson from his tutor and the convenience that he doesn't have to go anywhere. The company is very easy to deal with. No pressure nor hassle from the company. I would recommend parents to talk to Ezymaths if their children have problems in Math or if the children want to improve their grades. I will definitely call Ezymaths again when my son encounters difficulty with certain topics in class.
