I have always enjoyed working with children and I love building relationships with them. One of the best parts about being a soccer coach and pre-service teacher is seeing the joy on a child's face when they learn a new skill or finally understand a concept. I believe that I can connect well with students and build those relationships, so they are willing to learn. A child is not going to want to learn in an environment where they don't feel supported. I have a lot of experience in making lessons during my pracs fun and engaging. While I was in school, I loved to learn and still do. It is so important for a tutor to know how a student learns. Some students don't work well with rote learning, so making activities that are fun and engaging is very important.
