What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have a few things that I enjoy. Mostly, I enjoy the act of teaching and sharing knowledge in things that I am passionate about; I like to pass on my enthusiasm. Additionally, tutoring allows me to learn as well - by teaching I strengthen my own knowledge which can help me in future tutoring or education.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe one of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain concepts in a way that resonates with each student’s learning style. I recognise that everyone processes information differently, so I make it a priority to adapt teaching methods to meet the specific needs of each student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Here are a few things which I believe to be important:
- A tutor should help students build a robust mental framework that allows students to pick up new and complex ideas, even when a tutor is not around to help them.
- Instil the desire to learn in a self-driven capacity.
- Be reliable and understanding; a tutor should be an individual a student can openly talk with about their learning.
