What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like the feeling of being able to work with a student for months and slowly seeing them gain confidence and begin to achieve goals that seemed impossible for them. In a way, it makes me feel as if Im putting all the knowledge I learnt into good use and that Im giving back to the community.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I don't just try to teach the student through the conventional ways, rather I try to use analogies or connections to the real world in order to allow the student to grasp the concept better. My goal is to ensure that the students understands the concept rather than memories the steps required to solve the question, allowing them to tackle the harder questions and refine their understanding for long term.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a previous student, one thing i realized that differentiated good tutors from mediocre ones is their ability to connect with me. As a shy person, I only felt comfortable asking questions to tutors that I was connected to.
