What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I personally am a social person, so the building of connections and relationships, where the tutor is able to watch their student grow and progress to gradually become better and gain confidence in a subject area where they previously struggled in is my favourite part of tutoring. I love being able to be there for the student on their journey and sharing my own personal experiences and what strategies I found helpful.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am able to build a comfortable and positive space in my lessons, which is essential for a productive class. I feel as though I am a positive and encouraging tutor who uplifts and motivates students to try their best and approach challenging questions to the best of their ability.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing for a tutor to do is build self-confidence in a student. Although gaining self-confidence shouldn't be forced upon anyone, tutors should create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes. This will allow students to be learners in all aspects of their lives, 24/7, even outside our lessons, thus maximising their growth.
