What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy most about tutoring is the moment when a student has that "aha" realization. Seeing someone grasp a difficult concept and gain confidence in their abilities is incredibly rewarding. It's satisfying to know that I'm helping them unlock their potential and make learning feel more manageable and enjoyable. While I was studying for my HSC, I developed a passion for Mathematics due to the influence and unwavering confidence of my Maths Tutor, and now I am moving forward into Uni studying a Bachelor of Mathematical Science at UTS. I aspire to ignite a similar passion in all my students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my key strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain concepts in multiple ways, tailoring my approach to each student's learning style. I'm patient and encouraging, which helps create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions. I also break down complex ideas into simpler steps, making them easier to understand and apply.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is foster a positive and supportive learning environment where the student feels comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. It's also crucial to tailor the lessons to the student's needs, helping them build both their skills and confidence. Encouraging persistence and showing patience are key to helping students grow and develop a genuine love for learning.
