Leo went well in completing select basic numerical mathematical operations.

In comparison to Leo's school age he is quite behind in understanding fundamental mathematical techniques and principles. This will mean he'll have a hard time progressing through high school maths, as the new topics he'll learn depend on formative knowledge built in primary school. To address this, rather than focusing Leo's tuition on the topics he is currently learning, I'll take an approach which includes getting him to thoroughly understand base math principles.

Amy nailed the fundamental concepts/ideas tested in most topics.

Could improve in her comprehension and question approach to wordy/subtle questions that don't have a clear starting point.

Given we were focusing on the questions that Amy couldn't get the first try, the focus was mainly on her weaknesses.

Some specific topics that Amy struggled with included some harder probability questions, and some specific questions involving first and second derivatives, which often required a subtle trick/technique to solve.

Amy has been able to put together high-quality base essays that deal with the important themes of the respective modules.

Amy could improve her ability to adapt her introduction/body paragraphs by practicing inserting terms from the question consistently throughout her essay (whether that be replacing existing words in her prepared sentences, or appending half-sentences onto related sentences to reiterate how her prepared argument relates to the question).
