I personally enjoy being able to make a positive impact on the lives of students through my mentorship. I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to listen, and to be a pillar of support they can lean on not only in their academics, but also in their personal lives. High school can be a really stressful period for students, not only in the immense pressure that students are under but also with the dramatic shifts their minds are going through.
