What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find great enjoyment and fulfilment in providing students with the opportunities I didn’t necessarily have growing up. A compassionate, dedicated tutor can really make a significant difference in a student’ academic journey, and I believe everyone should have access to this. Seeing people’s confidence grow as they tap into their strengths is a really rewarding process and I think tutoring is the perfect opportunity to see this take place. While I lack commercial tutoring experience, I have learnt this informally through leading small study groups at University, and helping friends and familyMy Strengths as Tutor 💪

A good tutor should be able to extend past simply explaining things; they should be able to tweak their approach to match the unique learning abilities of each student. One should not just regurgitate information, but rather make break it up into pieces that are digestible by each person.
