What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy watching people understand concepts that they were struggling with before, as I personally know how relieving it can be to manage that with a looming assessment or exam that requires that skill. I also really enjoy challenging myself through tutoring as I think the greatest test of understanding for a concept is the ability to teach it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm very patient with people, and willing to explain things multiple times in different ways until they can understand. Related to that, I think I'm good at creating multiple explanations for one concept that can help get through to a student. I'm also willing to go the extra mile for students, looking into the content they're studying in class while I am outside of sessions in order to help them better later on.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor could do for a student is to make them more passionate and confident about their learning, as this will transition well past the tutoring period and into their future academics. Additionally, a tutor should help the student build good study habits that they can maintain independently.
