What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy watching students gain confidence in their abilities and seeing them make progress.
By creating a supportive learning environment, it is always incredibly rewarding to watch students become more independent learners.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am good at adapting my teaching style for students from diverse backgrounds, as I did while tutoring for the Adult Migrant English Program. I am confident that I have excellent communication skills which I have developed through experience in other roles such as customer service, leadership positions and healthcare. I have learnt to strengthen my ability to convey information clearly and provide constructive feedback.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Most students struggle to gain confidence in solving problems which in turn leads them to be unmotivated to study. Therefore, I believe that tutoring is not just teaching concepts but also building an environment where students feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn from it.
From experience, I believe that the most effective way is to encourage students to verbalise their thought process and breaking problems down step by step with them.

About Eva
Inspiring Leadership and Community Engagement
Eva brings a wealth of leadership experience to her tutoring, having served as president of a large student organisation where she managed the welfare and coordination of over 250 members. She has also led volunteer teams, motivating peers and handling group administration with care and efficiency. This strong background in teamwork and community service ensures that Eva can connect meaningfully with students, helping them feel supported both academically and personally.
Educational Excellence in Maths and English
With a Bachelor of Science focused on biochemistry, Eva has developed advanced problem-solving skills, particularly relevant to maths tuition. Her achievement in the Australian Mathematics Competition demonstrates her capability in the subject. As an English tutor for newly arrived migrants, she adapted her teaching style to suit diverse backgrounds, supporting language development through patient guidance—skills she now brings to school-aged learners.
