What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring others provides an avenue to not only provide an enormous helping hand to the tutored individual but also pragmatic introspection through which the tutors themselves find out more about what they thought they already knew wholeheartedly. Not only does the student benefit tremendously through guided help where needed, the teachers themselves also find new knowledge to refine the old. I am a university student, seeking new knowledge and ways to apply it- tutoring offers the ideal setting to use this earned knowledge to help those who seek what academic help I have the ability to provideMy Strengths as Tutor 💪
The habits and qualities of my possession that will help me in my role include the ability to effectively manage time between sports, social, and academic commitments; being an engaging speaker; and being a patient and attentive listener. Considering, my experience gained at primary and secondary school; and the first term at university- a tutor must have the ability to listen patiently and attentively to students. They must know that the power barrier between them and the student must be leveraged accordingly when the situation arises to either work as an examiner of the student or a carer who seeks to instill positive learning habits in them through independent will and not force.
