What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the satisfaction of being able to teach people and help them when they are struggling. Throughout high school, I would always help my friends and peers in the years below with tricky concepts that they sometimes did not understand. I was always very passionate about learning through school, and it would be a privilege to be able to tutor as a career.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths as a tutor would be encouragement. Whereby I would always encourage all of my students, to help build confidence which is key in answering hard maths questions. I additionally believe another one of my strengths as a tutor would be to never give up, and keep trying to teach and make It understandable for all of my students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing as a tutor is to be positive and encourage students at all times. When I received tutoring in high school the most effective way in which I learnt was to be encouraged to try the question even if I had no idea how to do it. Being open minded and starting somewhere is such an effective way to move forward and progress with a question, so I would definitely adopt this as a tutor. Additionally, I would also inform my students that they should never be ashamed to ask the same question over and over again.
