What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy that tutoring is a two-way street of benefits. Firstly, simply helping a student to achieve their best is rewarding. Even the smallest shift in learning can create life lasting impacts for the student. Secondly, the student can help me as a tutor develop professionally as I work towards my goals of completing my Master of Teaching.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) specialising in senior psychology and biology. I have completed several tertiary degrees that I bring to my tutoring practices. These stem across several disciplines including psychology, sustainability, and science. I am a NDIS registered Behavior Support Practitioner and work with neurodivergent students to support learning. A key strength is that I adopt a strengths-based approach to each student. By understand each students unique strength, it allows me to tailor learning strategies to maximise their learning potential.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
My focus is to help a student achieve their best. This is achieved through working collaboratively to break down concepts and turn them into bite size digestible sizes. I can also share my experiences of studying and working across several sectors to help coach and mentor students for future endeavours. Communication across stakeholders is paramount including carers, Ezy Maths management, and any others involved in supporting the student. Importantly, being able to adapt my approach to meet the personality and level of the student is crucial in building rapport.
