What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy getting to pass on my passion and dedication for learning to my students, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in a safe environment so they are better prepared for their schoolings.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I am patient, hardworking and flexible in my teaching style, all of which are values that are crucial for a tutor. I am willing to work through any difficulties at the pace required from the student, including spending extra time and energy on any and all parts of the syllabus they are stuck on. I am prepared to come to each lesson organised, with a confident understanding of how to help them improve, however I also understand that what my students require from me may vary, so I am dedicated to keeping an open mind and adapting my plans on the spot to advance their learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor needs to be able to listen to their student in order to achieve progress. Unlike a teacher, who is dedicated to ensuring the whole class has been taught the curriculum, a tutor's role is to help their student in any and all areas they are struggling, going beyond the syllabus to provide more personalised, accessible assistance to their students. It is also crucial to build a strong rapport and relationship with students, as in a 1:1 tutoring session, this rapport will empower the student to feel confident and ask the questions they need without judgement from their tutor.
