What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to help someone reach that light bulb moment—seeing a student grow in confidence and truly understand something they once found challenging is incredibly rewarding. I also love connecting with people and creating a space where learning feels approachable and even fun. I have really enjoyed seeing the growth of individuals whilst Coaching Athletics and brings me great pride.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths lie in communication, patience, and being able to explain complex ideas in a simple, relatable way. I’ve had experience leading teams and coaching young athletes, which has helped me become adaptable and empathetic. I also bring strong organisation and problem-solving skills from my engineering and consulting background.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important things are creating a supportive environment, assisting the student in achieving their goals on their one, with support as required, so that the learnings are maximised, building trust, and helping the student feel capable. I believe that a good tutor doesn’t just provide answers—they guide students to be curious, ask questions, and become independent learners.
