What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing my students improve every day, even if it's just by a tiny amount. Seeing a student go from struggling to solve a problem to breezing through it with flying colours is what makes me passionate to teach and help students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor come from a background of persistence. I understand how hard it is to struggle with Maths, especially in high school, so using that experience, I believe I can not only tailor my tutoring to a variety of students, but I can support them when times get tough and they are having a lot of trouble. I am also a recent graduate from high school, which gives me a deeper understanding of VCE and how to support high school students with their subjects and stress.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is be understanding, empathetic, and help them reach their individual goals. Every student experiences challenges differently and at different rates, and the best thing we can do is be empathetic, continue to attack each problem as they come, and support them to reach whatever goal they have set for themselves. By doing this, I think it helps to build student resilience and confidence in whatever subject they are learning.
