What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy being able to connect with students and learn about their abilities and strengths. In this way we have a chance to learn from each other, and I am able to tailor my learning to each individual. This is what is most rewarding for me; being able to help any student even if they are initially not confident that this subject is for them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'd say my strengths are being able to make mathematics engaging and accessible. For some many young students, it can be daunting and easy to think that this is an impossible subject. But I love to encourage and reassure my students, letting them know that everyone has the ability to do mathematics if they take it step by step and know that its natural to make mistakes and find challenges.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that every subject has the potential to be made fun and exciting for any student, and so naturally the tutor should be able to be inspiring and excited to teach and learn alongside their pupil. Alongside this, tutors need to be adaptable, being willing to communicate to different students based on their levels and understanding, while also having a growth mindset and wishing to improve the ways in which they deliver information.

About Ashley
Hobbies and Interests
I absolutely love music! I play a few instruments (ukulele, guitar and harmonium) and love to spend so much time just experimenting and playing alongside others to create something beautiful together. Other than that, I enjoy crocheting, chess, cooking and creative writing (a lot of C's!) and just learning and discovering things from those around me.
