What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have a deep passion for math, and one of my greatest joys is guiding others in their mathematical journey. Mathematics plays a vital role in our lives, and acquiring the fundamental concepts is not as challenging as many think. Unfortunately, children who lack interest in math from the start often struggle to keep pace with their peers and may disengage from further learning. This is truly unfortunate. For me, witnessing my students comprehend essential math concepts and gain confidence in their abilities is the most rewarding aspect of teaching.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have thoroughly mastered high school mathematics. I began studying the subject at the age of six and became the Mongolian National Mathematics Champion, as well as a three-time champion of the International Kangaroo Competition during my high school years. In particular, I have completely grasped the foundational concepts and principles of mathematics. I was the only student in the country to achieve a perfect score of 100 out of 100 on the high school final exam in Mongolia, similar to the VCE in Victoria or the SAT in the USA. Also, I have 13 years of experience in math tutoring.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most crucial role of a tutor is to spark the student's interest in the subject matter. Learning mathematical concepts, like any other skill, demands much practice and patience. To foster this, students must be encouraged and informed about the practical applications of math in everyday life, business, and various scientific fields. Tutors and educators should develop tailored teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Hence, tutors need to possess the ability to simplify complex information through relatable examples, which will help students build their confidence.
