What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the moment when a student who has been struggling with a concept finally understands it. Seeing that shift in confidence and clarity is incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy building a supportive learning relationship where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes, something that's not always easy to achieve in a classroom setting.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths lie in explaining complex concepts in a clear, step-by-step manner and adapting my approach based on how each student learns best. I am patient, attentive, and I take the time to understand where a student is starting from before guiding them forward. My background in the IB has also trained me to think critically and communicate ideas clearly, which helps me break down abstract Maths topics into relatable, manageable parts.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe one of the most important things a tutor can do is help a student build confidence in their own abilities. It's not just about teaching content, it's about helping them develop problem-solving skills and a mindset that embraces learning. A good tutor creates a safe space where students feel encouraged, supported, and motivated to take ownership of their progress.
