What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring is a really fun job for me, and the thing I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing my students grow and succeed in the field, knowing I had a direct influence. An example of this was when I had tutored a student who struggled with Mathematics but had aspirations of being accepted into Melbourne High. Thus, working tirelessly, I worked with this student to really grow and develop their mathematical capabilities by providing them constant feedback on the problems that they were doing. In the end, he became more knowledgeable, allowing him to be accepted to Melbourne High.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my biggest strength, apart from my unwavering dedication, that sets me apart from other tutors is the deep expertise that I have in Mathematics. Having graduated with a major in Mathematics at Monash University, with a 92 WAM, and undertaking an Honours in Mathematics with a current WAM of 94, it has allowed me to gain a really deep understanding of the field of maths, which not only allows me to explain concepts with precision, but also allows me to explain best practices when it comes to studying maths.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is give unwavering time and commitment in really trying to help the student grow and develop in the subjects that they are studying. Moreover, I think it is imperative that a tutor should share their knowledge with the student about how to study effectively, since it would benefit them throughout their lives.
