Rishee brings strong experience working one-on-one and in small groups with children on the autism spectrum, supporting their academic, social, and life skills. She has helped implement individual learning plans, used behaviour and sensory strategies to keep students engaged, and regularly liaised with therapists and families to keep everyone on the same page. This tutor understands that every child learns differently and is skilled at breaking tasks into manageable steps, building confidence while still gently stretching students to grow.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science, Rishee has a solid grounding in how children think, learn, and stay motivated. She has studied learning theories, child development, and behavioural psychology, and now builds on this through a Master of Teaching (Primary). During her teaching placement, she planned lessons, differentiated activities for mixed abilities, and practised clear, step-by-step instruction—skills she now brings directly into her tutoring in English and early Maths.
Beyond classrooms, Rishee has led group reading sessions for children aged 7–11, focusing on sight words, pronunciation, spelling, and vocabulary. She has created and organised teaching resources across subjects, and adapted materials so they are easier for children to understand and use. In tutoring, she likes to turn reading and writing into interactive activities rather than worksheets alone, and keeps parents informed about progress, next steps, and simple strategies to reinforce learning at home.

He was able to understand the concept of carnivores, herbivores and omnivores quite quickly, and showed interest in life cycles. I was able to maintain his interest by showing him videos of baby animals and their different habitats, relating it to the slides.
Due to the slides being quite content-heavy heavy this lesson, he wasn't as engaged as he usually is, I think that if I do a lesson this heavy again I should include two breaks instead of just one

Olivia has strong literacy and grammar skills, and was able to focus very well during the practice paper. It was great to see her reason why answers she selected for the grammatical questions were correct, beyond just saying that it sounded right.
There are some areas of language conventions she needs to work on, like identifying adjectives, verbs and nouns. There are a few issues with her spelling of uncommon words as well, but this is normal for her age and grade.
He was able to come up with a lot of his own ideas and opinions for and against many statements, it is nice to see him think flexibly. Good job!

He still needs to work on independence when coming up with his own ideas, but he is doing well for his age.
Activities done were engaging, and he was able to pay attention for a longer time thanks to the use of breaks

Since this is a topic he is unfamiliar with, we need to work on the definitions of each animal group more so that he can identify animals better
