What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy watching students grow and make improvements as we journey through the content. I also love students asking questions and showing that they are engaged.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I am a very patient person, willing to give encouragement for my students regardless of the outcome. I also have effective communication skills that will ensure students understand the content and receive the support that they need. I am also organised and more than willing to commit my time to support students as I understand that learning can be difficult.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
A tutor should be able to provide necessary learning resources for students, feedback and encouragement. A tutor should also be understanding of each studentโs skill level and create a stress-free, yet informative learning session that actually tailors to the specific studentโs need. Every student should feel that they have the potential to grow and learn, while understanding that they have support when it comes to failure. However, it is also extremely important that tutors do not always give students answers โ- they should be helping them HOW to find answers.
