What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy explaining things in a simple relatable way and helping students feel more comfortable asking questions. Itβs nice so to see them improve and feel more confident.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my strengths as a tutor are being patient and organised, and taking the time to really understand where a student is struggling. I focus on explaining concepts clearly and step by step, and I pay attention to patterns in mistakes so we can fix the root of the problem. Iβm reliable and prepared for each session, and it makes me happy to see students make progress.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe it is a tutor's role to help students understand the ideas behind the questions, rather than just memorising how to write an answer. Once they understand the concept, everything else becomes easier and more logical. It is also important for a tutor to support and encourage students, especially when they feel stuck or discouraged. By explaining things patiently, recognising their effort, and motivating them to keep trying. A tutor can help students build confidence.
