What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Honestly, my favourite part is seeing a student go from feeling completely lost to actually getting it. That moment when it all clicks for them β€” you can just see the relief and confidence on their face. I also really enjoy getting to know the students personally, because once they feel comfortable with you, they're so much more willing to ask questions and try.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I'd say patience is a big one β€” I never make a student feel bad for not understanding something straight away. I'm also pretty good at reading when someone's confused even if they don't say it, and I'll just try explaining it a different way. I think being flexible like that makes a real difference because not everyone learns the same way

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

For me it comes down to making the student feel safe to be wrong. A lot of kids shut down because they're embarrassed to get things wrong, so creating that judgment-free space is huge. Beyond that, I think it's really important to not just give them the answer but guide them to figure it out themselves β€” because that's what actually builds their confidence and helps them in the long run.

About ADITYA

Clear Communicator with Strong Academic Background

Aditya is a business analytics postgraduate student who brings clear, confident communication to every lesson. Having completed a finance-focused business degree, he is very comfortable breaking down numbers, patterns and logical steps in a way that makes sense to students. His strong grasp of English and experience dealing with a wide range of people means he can quickly adjust how he explains things, whether he is helping with basic primary maths or supporting high school students with more complex problem-solving.

Patient, Supportive Approach Built from Real-World Experience

Through his work in a busy customer-facing role, this tutor has developed patience, calmness under pressure and careful listening skills. He is used to clarifying confusing information and guiding people step by step until they feel confident, which translates directly into his tutoring style. Aditya focuses on creating a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions, and he checks understanding by getting them to β€œteach back” the idea in their own words.

Building Confidence Through Practical, Real-Life Examples

Aditya enjoys connecting maths and English concepts to everyday situations so students can see why they matter. For example, he might use simple budgeting scenarios to explain percentages and word problems, or real messages and short articles to practise reading and writing skills. He encourages students to set small, achievable goals each session and tracks their progress together, helping them build confidence as well as stronger results at school.
