What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy seeing students begin to understand concepts and problems they previously had trouble with, and improving through the tutoring process and practice, as I have in the past. This process is rewarding to me and thus my favourite part of the tutoring experience.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strength as a tutor is namely my ability to teach students across different levels of understanding and adapt my teaching to fit that understanding. I feel I am able to do this well as from Year 7 to 12 I have been across different levels of mathematical understanding, improving my maths and science skills through practice. The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is teach them how they can learn and grasp complex problems and improve their skills on their own. About Joshua
Mechanical Engineering Student with a Strong Mathematics and Physics Background
Iβm currently in my first year of mechanical engineering at the University of Adelaide, graduating from St Peterβs College in 2025 with a raw ATAR of 98. I completed both Specialist and Methods Mathematics in Year 11 a year early achieving Aβs in both and went on to achieve A+ across all assessments in Year 12 Physics my strongest subject. Mathematics and physics have always been passions of mine, but I wasnβt always good at them. In my time at school, I went from barely passing in Year 5 to achieving higher grades in later years as I developed my abilities. My goal as a tutor is to help clients achieve the same kind of improvement I did throughout school.
