What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love being able to help others overcome concepts that they struggle with and bring them confidence in what they are studying. I've mostly had experience in personal tutoring, and it has been extremely rewarding to guide others and see them progress. Learning to adapt to different students' learning styles also brings me fulfilment and expedites my teaching abilities.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor are that I am extremely patient and adaptable. I like to be prepared for each person and go through the concepts at a pace that suits them best. I excel in my English abilities and can communicate effectively. Moreover, I believe I have a warm and welcoming personality that makes the experience joyful and encouraging for each student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can provide for students are building confidence, fostering understanding, and instilling a hunger for education and learning. Encouraging students to ask questions, be involved, understand the material, and not just memorise it, while also being confident in their abilities, are crucial elements I hope to bring as a future tutor.

Alizah was making a lot of progress in subtraction, she initially struggled with multi-digit subtraction involving regrouping (borrowing) but after practice and guidance she quickly picked it up and can do this confidently. In English, she made a huge improvement in her reading abilities and pronunciation.
Alizah still needs a bit of practice in worded questions, specifically word problems that involve both subtraction and addition. It would also be helpful to go through reading exercises since Alizah often jumbles sentences and adds in extra words when she is reading.
