What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I find the most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing the moment when a complex topic finally 'clicks' for a student. I really enjoy the challenge of taking intricate or highly technical concepts and breaking them down into digestible, relatable pieces. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master a difficult problem is incredibly fulfilling
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My key strengths are my analytical problem-solving skills and my ability to adapt my communication style. My experience in technical and analytical field, such as computer science and ICT, means I'm very comfortable troubleshooting exactly where a student is getting stuck. Additionally, my creative background in media and video editing helps me present information in engaging, visual ways that cater to different learning styles.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do is empower the student to become an independent learner. Itβs not just about providing the right answers, but rather teaching them the underlying frameworks and problem-solving strategies they need to succeed. Fostering their self-belief so they can confidently tackle future challenges on their own is the ultimate goal.
